Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how SakuraCat VPN (referred to as "this Service" or "we") handles personal information when providing our mobile and desktop applications. We collect service data only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the product.
When you download, open, or use this App, we may collect necessary operational data such as Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app paths, crash logs, and session duration. This data is used for: 1. Connection optimization: recommending routes based on SakuraCat VPN node status; 2. Stability analysis: identifying regional issues through anonymized aggregate data; 3. Service notices: sending account, security, or product updates through your registered email or username.
We share anonymized or aggregated data with necessary third-party service providers, such as Google Play Services and Firebase crash analysis, only to diagnose failures and improve features. We do not sell personal information. Disclosure may occur only for legal process, mandatory regulatory requirements, safety investigations, or trusted service providers under confidentiality obligations. After you uninstall the App, it stops generating new operational data.
User-provided data is retained during the service period and for a reasonable retention window afterward. To cancel your account and delete personal profile data, contact our privacy team at [email protected]. This App is not intended for children under 13. If we discover accidental collection of such information, we will delete it as soon as practical.
This Privacy Policy may be updated for regulatory, product, or business reasons. Please review this page periodically. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy. This policy is effective as of October 4, 2025. Questions about privacy handling can be sent to the SakuraCat VPN team at [email protected].
